The film “The Race: Public Transport vs. Private car” explores the mobility choices and experiences of two inhabitants of Trafaria who work in Lisbon and have decided to compare their commuting experiences to work. The advantages and disadvantages of different commuting routines are here presented in this way.
This film represents an effective way to communicate on local issues of mobility, raising awareness to more sustainable transport modes. It was first exhibited during the European Mobility Week (EMW) and was developed in the framework of EMW 2005 and of the PIMMS Project.
