The PIMMS project

Almada is a partner local authority of the PIMMS Project – Partner Initiatives for the Development of Mobility Management Services – that involves other seven European local authorities and is co-financed by the INTERREG III C Programme. The project is an inter-regional network operation for the exchange of good practice information on the Mobility Management Domain, having the goal of increasing its use through:

• a particular methodology;
• constructing a Mobility Management database of European projects and corresponding Critical Success Factors;
• creating of local support groups composed of organisations that develop their activity in the area of mobility and transports;
• technical visits and staff exchanges;
• establishing benchmarks on the eight Mobility Management Domains defined in the Project;
• disseminating results.
